WINTER SWIMMING!

Now I love a good blizzard, but I can't complain about our warm winter temps. This weekend we headed to a nearby lake for swims:)

Norman was wondering if he should take a second dip...

Kaya lured him towards her...

But then she ditched him to go back to shore...

She turned up the power in her motor...

And then asked him what was taking so long...

She thinks she's so clever...

And she is...Norman will fall for it every time...

What did you and your pups do this weekend?

  3. They look so happy! Silas isn't a big fan of water, so I'm always a little surprised to see dogs that aren't retrievers happily swimming.

    1. Actually, although she is not of retriever breeding, Kaya does love to play fetch, especially in the water:)

  5. Nola is so jealous, she loves to swim! We got 30 inched so snow this weekend, so it was hard to do much of anything. These photos really make me reconsider where we live! Glad the pups had fun! :)

  6. Wow, a winter swim, lucky pups! It was a bit too cold here for that so Boomer and Dottie had to settle for a car ride and a few walks.

  8. How beautiful! I actually had a non-dog related weekend (shocking, I know) and went wedding dress and house hunting instead! I think I would rather have taken my dogs to a lake though...

    1. What? They don't let dogs come to wedding dress stores or open houses?! Well, if you're not spending the weekend with dogs, that is not a bad way to spend it instead!

  9. I love swimming pup pictures!
Braylon had to take a trip with us for anal gland expression-seriously- but she got to meet and make friends with a bulldog at the store we went to and practice her obedience around yippy dogs (she did better than I thought,) and then we took her for a walk with an adoptable lab through the rescue who she was overexcited to meet but covered in kisses at the end. We always work the weekend and volunteer though so it was nuts.

  11. Love your pics! They are so relaxing to me! I'm afraid we won't be swimming for awhile, but Ace and I love a good swim in the summer months!
