I rarely find stuff I like at fancy pet stores, especially stuff that is not even for my dogs. But I recently found a couple items I couldn't pass up while checking out a local store. Not surprisingly, they did not have any stuff specifically for pittie fanatics, but they did have the next best thing...mutts(aren't most pit bulls mutts anyways?)! Along with pit bulls, I've always had a soft spot for those silly mutts. Except maybe those designer mutts. Not anything against the dogs, but their owners can be creepy. Thinking they're genius for spending 5 grand on the "perfect dog" because it's "the best of both worlds." Hello!?! Ok...sorry, ran off on a tangent there. But I really do love my pit-mutts, so these are my new goodies...

magnet - doesn't this mutt resemble a pit bull??

Anyone else find things you couldn't live without at a fancy pet store...especially something that is not actually for your dog?!

  1. I love that stuff, and yeah, that looks like a pit bull on the magnet. I don't think I know any pit bulls that aren't lovable mutts.

  2. Wow, that's good stuff. I usually don't find anything at pet stores either!

  3. I love checking out the cute little boutique type pet shops, I can always find something I want in one of them vs. a PetSmart or place like that.

  4. Those are cute! I find many things I cannot live without at the pet store, usually in the treat aisle. Too bad mom does not agree. But put her in a tack store and, oh dear, she goes crazy...

  5. Love the magnet!

  6. I think so far our best pet store finds have been for the pups only. I'm overdue to find a new cool boutique. We have an awesome all natural pet store near us called Spike's Treats--bonus the owners dedicated it to their dearly departed pitbull and now have a newly adopted pittie puppy as a shop dog. You'd love it! They also have an in-shop bakery, have doggie yoga classes and more!
