It took me a while to spot the ball and see what was going on. I'm glad that your dogs understand Zoey's feelings about things. It's amazing how well they can work it out--Silas spends some time with an elderly Golden who also DOES NOT share. Silas picked right up on it, without any particularly overt messages. And Silas is not the most dog-literate dog out there.
I know what you mean! I wonder if it's confusing for dogs because one of Kaya's favorite games is to show other dogs her ball and have them do their best to "try" and get it from her. She's thrilled if they bite her all over her face or even try to take it right out of her mouth.
