Well...this picture is really terrible, but it makes me laugh. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought I adopted a Shar Pei puppy instead of a pittie!
Norman had way too much skin for his head when he was a puppy. Did anyone else's dog look like this when they were young?
Aw... how cute is that? When Boomer was little he looked just like a lab but his feet and ears were way to big for his body, he looked a little odd... but still super smoochable just like puppy Norman!
Oh, that is just too cute!! Mom says she just wants to squish baby Norman's face :)
I was about 9 months when mom and dad got me. I didn't have too much extra skin on my face then, but I had a Lot along my back! Not so much anymore though.
As you may know, what our pups looked like as tiny puppies is totally unknown to us. I will say that Hades being a shar pei mix I assume he must have had wrinkles a'plenty as a pup. I like to picture Braylon with mondo ears that she could barely hold up on her bobble head :) Norman looks very shar-pei-esque there!
Our blind mix breed puppy Breeze (now nine months old) still has the wrinkles! Sometimes in pictures, I do a double take and think, "what the heck is going on there?" Of course, she is adorable!
Love Norman's smoosh face! Kaya looks like such a good big sister. :) The shelter originally though Maggie was part Basenji because she had so many wrinkles between her ears, turns out she was just really worried. She sometimes gets the Shar Pei face when sleeping, I'll have to get a pic.
What an adorable picture!
ReplyDeleteHe does look just like a shar pei, so adorable.. xxooxx

ReplyDeleteOh that must have been so cute! I love it when puppies are disproportionate:D
DeleteToo cute!! We always wish we had "baby pictures" of the pooches!

I bet you were a very squishable puppy Remy, I am a sucker for those blue pitties myself;)
DeleteToo cute! Nola looked like that too. Although, she has kept some of her wrinkles even at 2 years old.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute picture and so funny about the skin!
ReplyDeleteOink oink,
