Oh wow, I am so jealous at how well your animals get along! My cat would never tolerate that kind of play from my dog. He doesn't even like it if she looks at him for too long!
PS. Thanks a million for your comments and advice on my blog. I've tried keeping Shiva on a leash but when she gets excited she gets tuggy and tends to pull me over. Maybe if I could tie her leash to something stable that doesn't move your trick might work. I just want to avoid any potential accidents!
Well, as you can see, the cat it instigating the whole thing, which is always the case around here, lol.
Keep working at it, it takes time. If Shiva is food motivated try upping the value of the treats to something like hot dog of bacon to reward her every time she ignores the cat, whether you've given her a command or not.
HA! Love the face pounce with the entire leg in Norman's mouth! He and Kaya are so sweet. :) Crazy Marty kitty looks part Bengal, his markings and attitude are great!
That looks like so much fun!! I wish my kitties loved me like that, but then I am still working on being as calm as Norman and Kaya when I am around them too...
I'm not sure about your kitties, Remy but Marty & Gina were raised with Kaya & Norman so they don't know cats and dogs are 2 separate species. When we had foster kitties they would get used to the dogs, but never wanted to cuddle or play with them. I'm sure your kitties will figure out how great you are eventually:)
