Braylon can really catch some air but poor Hades... he can't jump at all! They are both really low to the ground but for some reason Hades' legs just don't allow him to get very high... I could see Norman being able to jump high!
Actually Kaya is the jumper in the family. Norman is very uncoordinated and is super awkward on the rare chance that he tries. He has never even once tried to jump on someone no matter how excited he is. I caught him in a moment here when he was enamored with a certain stick:)
Mushroom is like the friggin' Michael Jordan of dogs when it comes to jumping, despite being the Muggsy Bogues of dogs (well, of pitties) when it comes to size. If she got a running start, she could probably jump over me, standing.
Athena can jump pretty high! Whenever we play fetch with her we try to work in training commands and often practice "heel." Athena gets so excited to go fetch her ball that she literally jumps into the heel position! She doesn't do this any other time that we ask for a heel...only during fetch =)

ReplyDeleteFetch was the best way to teach Kaya to heel, anything for that ball! I want to see of video of Athena's "flying heel!"
DeleteCool shot. Looks like a jump worthy of the Olympics. Give this dog a pole vault!
ReplyDeleteNice pic! :)
